After each one of these these farmers lose their property and a large corporations buys it for their large scale farming. Think about this. If you control everyones food supply, transportation, media, education, and even housing, then you have full control over an entire countries citizens. My take is every community, county and state build a civilian force that is armed to regulate the regulators and anytime some tyrannical force (such as the PDA with Amos Miller) imposes it’s boots on a member of our community then that civilian curve shows up and says no you are not stepping on this man or woman or businesses rights. If you choose to continue then you will have a fight on your hands right here and right now! The logistics of a nationwide effort of this manner would be impossible for any government agency to overcome and when we stand up for each other and protect each other on a massive scale (locally first and then conjoin together when and where necessary) then change will occur and freedom will prevail if everyone sticks to their guns and move boldly im courage and determination. we had our drought in june - lasted about three weeks give or take a few days ... rain was intermittent before that, but the grass was growing so i wasn't worried. but yeah.... the water turned OFF. i have a lot of browse so i wasn't terribly worried, but still. my cows needed the grass even if the goats and sheep didn't. but here's the thing! it has rained nearly every day for almost two weeks. the grass is hock deep in some areas, a bit taller in others. Very thick. looks beautiful. but these meat heads just stand there yelling for their hay. my milk cow had stripped every branch within reach and fricken YELLS like she's starving. so do both her calves - born in different years. i asked a friend who has raised cattle his whole life what was going on... he could only shrug. "if there's gras they should eat it!" then of course he asked if they'd been wormed or if they were sickly. nope. perfectly healthy. but for whatever reason they'd rather stand in the dry lot munching dried hay than look at the green grass. my son said it's probably all the rain. he thinks it lost its sweetness and won't get it back until it dries up some. ah.... maybe? is that a thing grass does? i don't eat it so i wouldn't know if it tastes good or not! i just know i absolutely don't want to keep feeding them out of my wallet. the grass is free and growing like wildfire. i'm doing a similar yet smaller version of what you're doing... i only have 4 highlanders(one bull, one cow, 2 yo steer and 7 month old heifer), 7 hair sheep (mixed breeds) and 7 goats (also mutts but i'm trying to phase in dairy and meat breeds and get rid of the useless cutesy nigerian dwarves people have offloaded on me because goat's actually make terrible pets!) i don't know if i'll ever make any money doing this and i don't care. that's not my goal - though it would be a nice bonus. i just want my own healthy source of meat. though my cow is a highland/hereford cross she does produce good milk. hopefully her daughter will do the same, but i may end up selling her and buying an older cow - good luck finding one that's trained to be milked that i can actually afford!

The PA FDA are out of control, same with the Veterinarian groups in the state trying to monopolize and control an entire industry so that only their collective hierarchy may profit from exploiting this industry, or to force everyone to pay this specific group while they offer those that are being forced to pay "dues" to this group nothing in return. That is an unfounded fee or penalty being put upon an entire industry for no good reason, this Vet group should be under the spotlight and those wrongfully punished compensated. Imho, it's racketeering by this Veterinarian group, it is the exploitation of power by such a group and abusing the FDA as their strongarm enforcers to force such a fraudulent monopoly into existence. If this madness is transpiring across multiple states it should be a RICO suit too, where has our government oversight gone?! Lastly, what the PA state governance does to their Amish community is an absolute crime against this free nation.

Ridiculous! Somewhat related & equally ridiculous is that the legal definition of “practicing veterinary services) changes when you cross state lines. In Wisconsin, popping a blister on an animal is “practicing veterinary services” while castrating (including via knife) is allowed by non-veterinarians.

The board wants their money for that license. And attend the academy that pays them their cut.

Whether they responded or not is not the bigger concern here. Why the heck are veterinarians allowed to be the only ones using basic sonogram equipment and sewing up basic stitches? That’s just the veterinarian industry creating a precedent for those who spend too much money going to over priced vet schools to be the only ones allowed to do a job anyone can learn to do on the job.

In other words, they committed a crime and instead of a jury or bench trial they were sentenced? I call B.S.

Well pregnancy is a medical diagnosis no matter how you want to spin it. Also we have veterinarians for a reason and if you can't afford them then don't be a farmer that's part of the cost.
